don’t be afraid

Pattern clashing, so AMAZING when done right. Totally unique looks coming from bits in your wardrobe that in the past you would never dare to put together but now, it’s game on. Also solves the age old problem of ‘nothing goes with this’, these days your wardrobe is your oyster.

Like these chicks of note have done

You see you can go kind of subtle like Sienna Miller or go for it like Diane Kruger. But either way, it’s the moneyshot these days. I am quite the advocate. Here’s a few of my clash of the titans from my instagram files…

So you see, you can either go full on like the navy stripe skirt ensemble or a little easier as in the first look by adding in a stripe on the trousers or different coloured accessories. Start small and see how it goes, but I reckon if you think it doesn’t match, it will….A good start is with shoes, if the outfit is stripes then go for a different pattern shoe to kick it off kilter, creating a ‘who is THAT?’ effect! Or you could go for mixing up the top and skirt like the picture immediately above but then keep the shoes and jewels calming so as not to totally look bananas and tri-hard. Or the jacket in the post previous to this called the production line, with the yellow top? (I will make you read my stuff!!!) that’s a classic clashtastic.

Just don’t go too far, as in
